ARE HOSTING A
ROS BLACKBURN PRESENTATION
WHO IS ROS BLACKBURN? Ros Blackburn is an adult with autism who lives in Essex. At a very young age she appeared withdrawn, isolated and very much in a world of her own. Ros was eventually diagnosed severely autistic but with average intellectual ability. Now Ros lectures nationally and internationally giving insight into her own experiences and the care and education practices she has observed. Ros displays great courage (and a strong sense of humour) in facing her fears and tackling life’s challenges.

WHAT THE EVENING HOLDS:

Ros Blackburn’s presentation will give you an opportunity to hear first-hand her experiences of living with Autism. Ros will speak about the problems of having an uneven profile of strengths and weaknesses. The talk will cover her history from early diagnosis up to the present.
Through her use of humour and many examples of her life experiences, you will gain an invaluable insight into her world of autism.
