There is a programme on BBC 3 on Tuesday 11 August at 21.00 called 'The Autistic Me' it's a documentary following three young adults with autism, if you click the link below you can watch a clip from the doumentary

Hi Elaine
What another brilliant write up for a brilliant day! I was getting a lump in my throat again reading it and looking at the photo's.
There are so many people I want to thank for making this day so special, To Leroy at Tayplay, Derek at balloon.co.uk, Mrs Parkinson, Mrs Power, Mr Wright, Miss Crank and all the wonderful staff and pupils at St Anne's, Mum & Dad, Elaine, Dan & Maj, Mike & Mo, Linda & her Mother-in-law, Julie & Dylan, Kevin & Peter and Claire, and to David & Dawn for printing the labels, to the photographer from Wigan evening post, and to everybody who bought balloons, and especially to Jack my special little boy! he had great fun on the day, all he wnats do now is play with balloons, and on the night following the launch he was laughing away in his sleep, I can guess what he was dreaming about.
The day was absolutly spectacular, I wish we could do it all again, everybody worked so hard and it was so worth it to see how happy everybody was on the day. Leroy and Tayplay have certainly made a lot of people very happy! Not only everybody who was there on the day but all of the people who are finding the balloons too.
I can't believe they got to Poland wow! and I'm still getting phone calls all day long from Germany & Holland.
I am still on a high about it all and have had a big grin on my face for days now. I just wonder what we can do next to top it. Any ideas?

Elaine, David, Maj Lee & Kenny you are all amazing!! well done to you all for what you achieved yesterday I don't think i could have made it especially not in the weather you were faced with, I didn't realise just how hard it was until I saw the photo's WOW! the utmost respect to you all for what you did. I Really loved reading the new page and its definatly my favourite page on the site, I am really proud of my big bro and sis and our Maj even managed to do it with his asthma he put me to shame thats for sure!! Of course! we had to have a can of the finest when we got to the top. No goats along the way but plenty sheep (a dead one) I think Maj was tempted to take it home for his curry. That walk from the Beech Tree to Thicknesse Avenue does not seem so bad now we have climbed Snowdon. Miss you both - hurry up home there are 2 pints waiting for you in the Beech, and the karaoke is ready! x x

Hi, I'm Danielle
My boyfriend Leroy forwarded me ur invite, i hope you don't mind me joining. We have a son Declan who turned 2 in March and has been unaffected by the MMR jab, however, i was really not keen for him to get it. I researched for months before finally going through with it. When Jack was diganosed with Autism did the doctors accept a link to the MMR jab, or did they say it was cause by something else? I see you've been doing lots of fundraising events, i'm sure your hard work will be worth it. Have you still got a long way to go?

Thank you very much, we really appreciate your help, thats really nice of you.
Jack will be 5 in June, it doesn't seem a minute since he was Declans age and starting at nursery, its flown by, he is my only child but he has older step sisters and a step brother. Is Declan your only child? He's a little cutey too! Is he at the terrible two's yet? I remember Jack being into everything and found my bottle of cooking oil one day and the next thing I knew it was all over the wooden floor, we scooted round like Torvill & Dean and it took weeks to clean up. Ha! its all good fun!
